JOB VACANCY - DEPUTY CLERK
The Deputy Clerk will focus on servicing council meetings and committees and liaising with contractors that help maintain the roads and green spaces in Denham.
The Deputy Clerk is expected to become involved in Parish projects such as new community and recreational facilities.
The applicant must be computer literate and competent in using Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of local government and contractors would be beneficial. The role involves direct contact with residents and a large degree of tact, diplomacy and flexibility is essential.
The Deputy Clerk will report to the Clerk and will be based at the Parish Council office in Denham. The role requires a reasonable level of fitness and will require visual inspections of the Parish, often on foot. The use of a car is essential.
The role is 37 hours per week with an annual salary of £25,000.
